Metra unveils $9B draft plan for 15-minute train service and regional rail network

Metra leaders are rolling out a draft System Network Plan that envisions a transformation. Short-term goals include trains to O’Hare every 30 minutes and more weekend service, while long-term vision features crosstown connections through Union Station linking lines.
