Good Trouble Trumbull is sponsoring a “No Kings: Vote Early” rally Saturday in downtown Warren. The nonpartisan event will occur from 10 a.m.-noon on Courthouse Square.
The event is free and open to the public.
“With the early vote for the 2026 midterm elections in full swing (Oct. 6 to Nov. 1), we join a day of action across the country to energize citizens to vote early and protect our elections. Our family-friendly rally will feature creative signs, music, and opportunities for neighbors to connect in this early voting kickoff,” said organizers in a media release.
Good Trouble Trumbull describes itself as “a grassroots collective engaged in peaceful community action.”
Other “No Kings: Vote Early” rallies are planned throughout the country on Saturday. The rallies are nonpartisan events led by a coalition of civil rights organizations, labor unions and advocacy groups.
Mahoning Valley United and Youngstown Solidarity have scheduled a “No Kings: Vote Early Rally” on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. in downtown Youngstown.
The event takes place in front of the Mahoning County Courthouse, 120 Market St., Youngstown 44503.
“Unlike previous ‘No Kings’ actions, ‘No Kings: Vote Early,’ is not purely a protest. Instead, on Oct. 17, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation,” said the rally’s sponsoring organizations. “We are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.”
“ ‘No Kings: Vote Early’ events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters,” the organizations added.
